She was predeceased by : her parents, Francis Yanda and Leona Yanda (Barr); her former life partner Col. John E. Wall; her sons, John W. Wall and James Wall; and her siblings, Leo, Donald Yanda and Betty Davis.

She is survived by : her husband Walter Taylor of North Liberty; her daughter Gayle Grissel (Tim) of Solon, Iowa; her grandchildren, Tim Grissel, Jr. (Alissa) of Cedar Rapids and Kelly Grissel (Shane) of Cedar Rapids; her great grandchildren, Jason Mulherin, Alyssa Mulherin, Sydney Grissel and Kamryn Grissel; and her stepchildren, Cliff Taylor (Deb) of Mechanicsville, Vicky Bennett (James) of Lisbon and Sandy Stoneking (Brian) of Stanwood. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed the charity of the donor's choice.
