It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle C. Coats (North Liberty, Iowa), who passed away on April 1, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John Coats and Grace Coats; and his spouse Marjorie F. Thicksten.

Burial with military honors will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling.In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Gideons.
