It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Louise Lang of North Liberty, Iowa, who passed away on July 6, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Hess and Iva Hess (Comport); her sister Rosalie (Norman Severinsen); and her brothers-in-law, Morris Allen and Harry Wullschleger.
She is survived by : her daughter Iva Hess (Comport); her husband Jim; her children, Cari Marshall (Gordon), Rob (Bev Lynch), Rick, Cathryn Schau (Allan) and Melissa; her grandchildren, Brandon, Jeremy and Marina; and her siblings, Diane Allen, Patricia Wullschleger and Tom Hess (Nancy York). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy's memory may be directed to Table to Table, in Iowa City, IA - a food rescue organization that collects food and distributes it to agencies that serve those in need – or The Bird House, (Hospice Home of Johnson County) which provides compassionate, dignified end-of-life care.
