She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Webster and Mary Alice Webster (Stageman); her brother Mark Webster; and her brother-in-law Norman Walker. She is survived by: her daughters, Amy McGrevey of Kansas City, MO and Molly Schafer-Cleven of Cumming, IA; her husband Michael Schafer of Le Mars; her children, Jill Godbersen (Kent) of Ida Grove, Reed, Carson and Morgan; her grandchildren, Tyler and Hannah; her children, Amy Mc Grevey (Sean) of Overland Park, KS, Danica, Megan and Erin; her siblings, Sue Eads (Dick) of Marshalltown, John Webster (Roxanne) of Fort Dodge, Tom Webster of Fort Dodge, Annie Fitzgerald (Greg) of Fort Dodge, Jim Webster (Kittie) of Milford, Bob Webster (Marilyn) of Mc Donough, GA and Dr. Elizabeth Stoebe (Kurt) of Humboldt; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Walker of Ottumwa and Betty Hagler (Joel) of Huntington Beach, CA. She is also survived by 24 nieces and nephews and many special Stageman relatives.

Mary Jane was diagnosed with Early Alzheimer's disease in 2012.
