He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Kiel and Betty Kiel. He is survived by: his wife Mary (McLeran); his children, Matthew (Reba) of Philadelphia and Amanda of Minneapolis; his siblings, Rick (Karen) of Florida, Linda Hargis (John) of Des Moines, Ron of Des Moines and Randy (Cheryl) of Des Moines; and his pets, Rizzy, Luna and Bagel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in his honor should be donated to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa or your favorite animal rescue. Ralph would probably ask you to just spend the money at your favorite local restaurant, but we wanted to have donations as an option.
