Susanne Kay Sebetka Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susanne Kay Sebetka of Norway, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Susanne Kay Sebetka to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Odeen and Marian Odeen (Raymond); and her brother David Odeen. She is survived by: her husband Marcel Sebetka of Patrick's Church; her children, Diane Shaw (John), Theresa Shivers (Dale), Marianne Klouda, Matthew Sebetka (Jenny), Jennifer Sebetka, Lester Sebetka (Wendy) and Marcia De Los (Rudy); her siblings, Harold Odeen, Harry Lee Odeen (Linda), Jeannie Brislawn and Cathie Odeen; and her in-laws, Victor Sebetka, Sylvester Sebetka (Evelyn) and Lavon Tomas. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Ludmila Catholic Church (211 21st Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Patrick Cemetery (9198 St Patricks Rd SW, Fairfax, IA 52228).
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family, to Camp Courageous or your favorite charity.
