With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Agnes Arletha Parkinson of Oelwein, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on January 9, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, John Andrew and Creszenz Rachel Price (Bender); her husband Dallas Conrad Arthur Parkinson; her siblings, Andrew Price (Olive), Frances Price, Virgil Price (Peggy), Carrie Gaede (Walter), Marvin Price (Jeanette) and David Price; and her sister-in-law Viola Price.
She is survived by : her children, Wyatt Parkinson (Karen) of Hazleton, Samuel Parkinson of Oelwein and Teresa Ryherd of Oelwein; her granddaughters, Tina Dodge (Carl) of Winthrop and Lisa Wanek (Justin) of Elkhorn, Nebraska; her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Andrew Dodge, Colton and Weston Wanek; her brother Alvin Price of Fairbank; her sister-in-law Diane Price of Tripoli; and her son-in-law Dennis Ryherd of Fairbank. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
On March 3, 1959, she was united in marriage to Dallas Conrad Arthur Parkinson at Zion Lutheran Church in Readlyn, Iowa.
