It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Albert Peter Dresen of Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Dresen and Freda Dresen; his wife Luella Verna "Lou" Bietz; his son Thomas; and his brothers, Edward and Duane Dresen.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Fritz of Faribault, Minnesota and Tim Dresen (Deb) of Oelwein; his grandchildren, Kristen Walley (Antonio) of Farmington, Joe Fritz of Faribault, Elizabeth Fritz of Apple Valley, Karlee Weidemann (Nate) of Oelwein and T. J. Jackson (Ashley) of Center Point; his great grandchildren, Olivia Mae Walley, Scarlett Jackson and Stella Jackson; and his sister Bev of Connecticut.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings and the recent surge in the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be required. Those in attendance are required to wear a mask.
Memorials may be directed in his name to Zion Lutheran Church, Oelwein.
