He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Wesley and Margo Ann Stancil (Romero); his son Joseph Stancil; his sister Kimberly Antoinette Stancil; and his grandmother Lois Rosetta Stancil.
He is survived by: his children, Luz Christina Quijas (Abel) of Fairbank, Luis Pineda (Lorena) of Oelwein and Sergio Valdez (Tabitha Smith) of Lamont; and his wife Patricia Stancil of San Diego, California.
