She was predeceased by: her parents, Brunk Lauterbach and Minnie Lauterbach (Berends); her husband Ben J. Miller; and her sisters, Matilda Johnson of Allison, IA and Virginia Miller of Dumont, IA..

She is survived by: her daughters, Dorris (Dea) and Dea Nelson; her sister Darlene Overman of Rhoads, IA; her grandchildren, Susan Cripe (Andy) of Syracuse, IN, Brent Tapper (Liz) of Oelwein, IA and Mlyea Nelson (Nathan Jarrett) of Eldridge, IA; and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Dane, Hudson, Tate, Ellie, Carlie, Sophia and Nathan Jarrett. She is also survived by Her one daughter, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed in Irene's name to her family which will later be designated elsewhere.
