It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Boies of Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on June 14, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hoth and Carrie Hoth (Barnes); her husband Richard Boies; her sons, Tim Boies and Dan Boies; her siblings, Eugene Hoth, Larry Hoth and Doris Carolan; and her siblings-in-law, Doris Hoth and Bernard Carolan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christine Curtis (Joel) of Shakopee, MN and Janice Minton (Kevin) of Hazleton; her grandchildren, Nathan Valinski, Megan Oldenburger, Jered Valinski, Melissa Tucker, Kerrie Burroughs, Katie Nolan, Kaela Minton, Cass Minton, Kristie Boies, Billy Boies, Jacob Boies and Alexis Boies; her sister-in-law Jeannette Hoth; and her daughters-in-law, Gail Deterding and Julie Boies.
