It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Theobald of Oelwein, Iowa, born in West Union, Iowa, who passed away on November 16, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas V. Theobald and Evelyn Theobald (Reidel); his wife Shirley Streight; his siblings, Carroll (Sandy), Jamie, Richard, Jack, Jerry, Mary Barbara and Jane Alice; his sons, Christopher and Tom; and his son-in-law Gordon Young.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Lundry (Larry), Ann Young and David Theobald (Cindy); and his daughter-in-law Laura Theobald. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Due to state and federal guidelines on gatherings regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing is required. Those in attendance are required to wear a mask.
