Alta Folkers Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alta Folkers (Olin, Iowa), who passed away on January 2, 2020 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis Bramer and Patria Bramer (Thomsen); and her husband Lawrence Folkers. She is survived by : her daughters, Barbara Northland of Shellsburg and Phyllis Dircks (David) of Olin; and her grandchildren, Brian Dircks, Sheri Ulrich, Jason Dircks, Branyon Dircks, Sue Hobson (Scott), Scott Northland (Glenda) and Kim Thacker (Caleb). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to her family in her honor.
