He was predeceased by : his parents, Ezra Christner and Blanche Christner (Houston); his daughter Tammy Lee Christner; his stepson Randal Lester McKinsey; and his siblings, Ruby Rockhill, Lucille Koth, Viola Schaeffer, Maxiene Carris and Hubert Christner.
He is survived by : his spouse Trilla Ann Christner; his daughter Kimberly Sue Bodkins of Iowa City; his stepdaughter Cecilia Kessel Adam of Fairfield; his grandchildren, Zachary Hesseltine (Hillary), Broughdy Christner (Chad), Kaylea Fridley (CJ), Aaron Adam (Shelby), Angie Haines (Brock) and Briale Kessel; his great grandchildren, Taylor Kruse, Amari Vorasane, Summit Hesseltine, Kaylynn Ward, Cole Christner, Arianna Ward, Amelia Christner, Kenneth Fridley, Aubree Haines and Calan Kessel; and his brother Marvin Christner of What Cheer. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many good friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Ollie Baptist Church and Essence of Life Hospice.
