With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale Lee Shatto Sr. of Orient, Iowa, who passed away on January 24, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Albert and Eleanor Shatto (Culler); his siblings, Fenton Wesley Shatto and Leticia Bluto; and his children, Michael Stringer and Michelle Maynes.

He is survived by : his wife Phyllis Shatto of Orient; and his children, James Stringer (Susan) of California, Billy Shatto of California, Ralph Boner of California, Dale Shatto, Jr. (Candice) of Orient, Teresa Clark (Daniel) of Creston and Kathy Ferber of Chariton, Iowa. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
