He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bauman and Florence Bauman (Gerbig); his siblings, John Bauman and Arlene Garden; and his close friend Olive Gaarder.
He is survived by: his sibling's children, Steven Bauman (Eleanor) of Emmons, Duane Garden (Wanda) of Acme, Barbara Garden of Charles City, Mike Garden (Sharon) of Osage and Bob Garden (Janet) of Charles City; and his close friend Barry Gaarder of Marshalltown.
