It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Putnam (Osage, Iowa), who passed away on March 27, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Carrison and Ida Mary Carrison (Barker); her husband Royden Putnam; and her siblings, Harold Carrison, Bertha Mitchell, Viola Smolik and Doris Hoisington.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Putnam (Janet) of Osage, Kathryn Tosel (Michael) of Mason City, Duane Putnam (Alice) of Wake Forest, Derrel Putnam (Nancy) of Ankeny and Darla DeForest (Craig) of Mason City; and her grandchildren, Melynda McKelvey (Michael), Michelle Wendel (Jeff), Emily Hartkopp, Raela Eland (Rob), Kristen Putnam, Sydni Putnam and Kaela Gillette (Ron). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and one due in May; and many nieces and nephews.
