She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel McCarthy and Rosemary McCarthy. She is survived by: her husband Pete Hagen; her son Todd; her daughter-in-law Patti Miller; her granddaughter Kara Eden (John); her great grandchildren, Aria and Everett; her granddaughters, Laura Miller, Erin Nichting (Jordan) and Mary Miller; her stepson Scott Hagen (Courtney); her stepgranddaughter Olivia; her stepdaughter Tori Stensland (Rob); her stepgrandchildren, Reece, Sasha, Cale and Jax; her sisters, Carmen Johansen (Ben) and Karen Heimer (Dwaine); and her siblings' children, Eric Loften (Kate), Elizabeth Johansen (Caleb Estabrooks), Brian Heimer (Larissa) and Kristy Mayer (Justin).
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Champion Chapel (702 State St, Osage, IA 50461). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
