The memory of Irvin Taylor of New Virginia, Iowa, who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Williams; his parents-in-law, Kermit and Helen Williams; his son-in-law Bill Tripp; his brother-in-law Dale Williams; his brothers, Arnan (Faith Williams) and Donald Wooge; his sisters-in-law, Genie Andrews, Sue Taylor and Mary Taylor; and his grandson Seth Mathes.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Mathes of Winterset, Karla Mitchell (Tom) of Osceola and Richard Taylor (Julie) of Earlham; his grandchildren, Amber Hill (Ashley), Elyse Turner, Blaine Mathes (Cayla), Josh Tripp (Christina), Lindsay Stanford (Nathan), Jacob Taylor and Garret Taylor (Alexa); and his siblings, Herbert Taylor (Marilyn), Vivian Schmit (Jerry) and Robert Taylor. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kale Funeral Home - Osceola (301 S Main St, Osceola, IA 50213). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to his family for a fitting tribute to be decided at a later date.
