He is survived by: his parents, Kenneth Marvin Schaff and Freda Marie Schaff (Hess); his brother John Schaff; his sister-in-law Sylvia Schaff; his wife Karen Schaff of Murray, IA; his children, Jack Schaff (Ronoka) of Osceola, IA, Shana Schaff of Urbandale, IA, Shane Miller (Mel) of Lincoln, NE, Troy Miller (Melinda) of West Point, MS and Ed Miller of West Point, MS; his brothers, Jerry Schaff (Sandy) of Hamilton, IL and Larry Schaff (Peggy) of Des Moines, IA; and also Jack. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren as well as other relatives and many friends.
