She was predeceased by: her parents, George Voss and Ruth Voss (Cox); her son Roger Hogate; and her siblings, Lester Voss, Jerry Voss, Howard Voss, Harold Voss, Dale Voss and Carolyn Sereg.
She is survived by: her husband Martin Hogate; her children, Betty Roeske (Mike) of Sparta, Chuck Hogate of Pella and Linda Hogate (Phil Swenson) of Fort Collins, Colorado; her grandchildren, Nicole Norton, Amy McHugh, Ben Sullivan, Keegan Sullivan and Mallory Swenson; her great grandchildren, Briell McHugh and Preston McHugh; and her siblings, Donna Gordon of Oskaloosa and Ron Voss (Cindy) of Oskaloosa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Pella Comfort House in Pella.
