Gordon Anderson Obituary

We bid farewell to Gordon Anderson of Oskaloosa, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 21, 2025 at the age of 86. Gordon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Anderson and Mabel Blakeley Anderson; his former wife Joanne Carr; and his wife Lynda Harter (Reece). He is survived by: his friend Inez Grahek; his daughters, Kimberly Lowry (Kevin) of Oskaloosa and Traci Overbergen of Oskaloosa; his sister Janet Fleck of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Jordan Lowry (Cortney), Collin Lowry (Kaitlyn Bravek), Nicole Smith (Cale) and Sarah Davis (Keenan); and his great grandchildren, Mason Smith, Asher Smith, Jolie Lowry, Esme Davis and Jones Davis.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Christian Church (119 A Ave E, Oskaloosa, IA 52577). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to Mahaska County Pheasants Forever or Stephen's Memorial Animal Shelter.
