It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeannie Poole of Oskaloosa, Iowa, born in Ottumwa, Iowa, who passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Everett Montgomery and Alice McConnell Montgomery; her son Jeffrey Durst; and her brother Kirk Montgomery. She is survived by : her former life partner Ronald Durst; her daughter Amanda Pierce (Brian) of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Christopher Mabee, Cody Kline and Dakota Durst; her siblings, Susan Guyette of Oskaloosa and Everett Montgomery (Stacy) of Beacon; and her sister-in-law Veronica Montgomery of Oskaloosa. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
