Joy Fenton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2025, at the age of 76, Joy Fenton of Oskaloosa, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joy Fenton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Taylor and Thelma Taylor (Horton); her husband Jerry Fenton; her daughter Lisa Rice; and her sister Bonnie Hazelwood.
She is survived by: her son Dean Fenton (Amy); her grandchildren, Ariel, Chris, Brandon, Schayalla, Elizabeth (Randy), Emily (Hank), Micheal and Justice; her great grandchildren, Noah and Gracelynn; her siblings, Bob Taylor, Ray Taylor, Kathy Stouthammer and Sue Sylvester (Larry); and her son-in-law Keith Rice.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bates Funeral Chapel (114 S 7th St, Oskaloosa, IA 52577). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Tioga Cemetery (3373-3381 235th St, Rose Hill, IA 52586).
