She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrel Morningstar and Margaret Morningstar (Slater); and her husband Herb Krause. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Tuttle of Oskaloosa and Karla Christian (John) of Marion; her grandsons, Joshua, Jonah Christian, Dylan and Cody Tuttle; and her sister Janice Steiert (Jim).

Memorials may be made to MHP Serenity Hospice House.
