He was predeceased by : his parents, John Beltz and Lucinda Beltz (Smith); his spouse Sandy Whitfield; and his siblings, Floraine "Rene" Lloyd, Betty Perry, Raymond "Dean" Beltz, Jack Beltz and Shirley Beltz As.

He is survived by : his children, Zachary Beltz (Valerie Edel) and Libby Beltz (Andrea LaRonde); his grandchildren, Amaya Beltz, Brantley Shepard, Ashlyn Shepard and Haiden Shepard; his stepchildren, Andy Stock (Nikki), Stacey Whitfield and Kristine Whitfield; and his siblings, Daniel Beltz and Mavis Rossie.
