He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James W. Peters and Margaret A. Peters (Wion); his brothers, Mike Peters of Oskaloosa and Doug Peters (Pam) of Oskaloosa; his siblings' children, Carissa Heine (Kyle), Sarah Humpal (Mike), Brock Holcomb Peters, Kane Peters and Emily Peters (Brent Parker); and his brother Randy Peters.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Langkamp Funeral Chapel (2116 N 3rd St, Oskaloosa, IA 52577).
Memorials may be made to Margaret Peters and will be used as determined at a later time.
