He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer McMullen and Bernice McMullen (Moore); his wife Joyce McMullen; his daughter Melody Dorris; and his sister Betty Stewart.
He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Kay George; his children, Merridy Cumpton of Kansas City, Missouri and Douglas McMullen (Kim Pace) of Kansas City, Missouri; and his siblings, Gary McMullen of Oskaloosa, Bobby McMullen of Alaska, Terry McMullen of Eddyville and Phyllis Todd of Las Vegas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Assembly of God Church in Oskaloosa.
