He was predeceased by : his parents, Elizabeth H. Sammons (Prose) and Harold M. Sammons; his son Kevin; and his brother Jerry. He is survived by : his wife Mabel Anderson; his daughter Nadina Hofts of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Levi Hofts of Alexandria, VA, Elliott Hofts of San Diego, CA, Frederick Hofts of Des Moines, Kyle Sammons (Carleigh) of Ottumwa and Kelly Sammons of Tiffin; his great grandchild Kole Sammons; and his sister Marilyn Smith of Quincy, IL..
According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and reasonable personal protective equipment is advised for attending a religious public event, masks are required at the funeral home.
