Darlene Arends Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene Arends of Parkersburg, Iowa, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Lindaman and Mae Lindaman (Finger); her husband Glen Arends; her daughter-in-law Loretta Arends; her great grandchild Charlotte Arends; and her brothers, Lloyd Lindaman (Myrle) and Delbert Lindaman (Florence).

She is survived by: her children, Randy Arends (Mary) of Cedar Falls, Roger Arends (Karla) of Parkersburg and Glenda Cuvelier (Bryan) of Cedar Falls; and her grandchildren, Brad Arends (Brittney), Sara Anderson (Zach), Todd Arends (Sarah), Travis Arends (Ashley), Tyler Cuvelier (Mary), Molly Schulte (Ryan) and Austin Cuvelier (Meridith).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 PM at the Pleasant Valley Reformed Church (20957 150th St, Holland, IA 50647). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
