It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Collings of Parkersburg, Iowa, who passed away on March 12, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry DeGroote and Elizabeth DeGroote (VanHauen); her husband Arthur Collings; her sons-in-law, Kenneth Kollmann and Kevin Kalkwarf; her granddaughter Michelle Kollmann; and her siblings, Ann Huisinga, Florence Lewis, Henrietta Benning, Harm DeGroote, Henry DeGroote and Marion DeGroote.
She is survived by : her children, Nancy Kollmann (Keith Uhlenhopp) of Parkersburg, Barbara Plaehn (Mike) of Gladbrook, Jill Kalkwarf of Parkersburg, Iowa and Gary Collings (Diane DeBuhr) of St. Clair Missouri; her grandchildren, Kellie Fobian (Troy Gilbertson), Tim Kollmann, Erik Kalkwarf (Megan), Amy Kalkwarf, Andrew Collings (Makayla), Alicia Tweedy (Greg) and Chad Plaehn (Kayla Benjamin); her great grandchildren, Brady Fobian, Kylie Fobian (Stephen Gunn), Lane Kollmann, Josie Kollmann, Braxton Kalkwarf, Isabella Kalkwarf, Maverick Collings, Alaina Collings, Penelope Collings and Landon Tweedy; and her sisters, Johanna Reiners of Parkersburg and Sarah Truax (Donovan) of Parkersburg, Iowa..
