She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil Patterson and Mabel Patterson (Curry); her sister Anita Conklin; and her brother-in-law Raymond Conklin. She is survived by : her husband Lee Van Hauen of Parkersburg, Iowa; her children, Sherry Kannegieter (Terry) of Parkersburg, Iowa and Rusty Garrett (Teresa) of Parkersburg, Iowa; her grandchildren, Lynn Kannegieter (Amber), Lane Kannegieter (Danielle Frost), Dustin Kannegieter, Shelley Horak (Jeff Van Houten), Staci Garrett, Cory Garrett, Courtney Weber (Mitch), Caleb Carr (Katie) and Kurt Carr (Emily Mayer); and her brother Dean Patterson (Joanne) of Parkersburg. She is also survived by 28 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
