He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Hassman and Elizabeth Hassman (Schoeman); his brother Dale Hassman; his father-in-law Duane Oelmann; and his sister-in-law Geri Oelmann.
He is survived by : his wife Velda Hassman of Parkersburg; his daughters, Trisha Cashman (Jason) of Cedar Falls, Tamara Hassman of Marion, Traci Thomas (Matt) of Norwalk and Tonya Muller (James) of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Bryer, Payce, Macoy, Landry Cashman, Avery, Cameron Thomas, Haysley, Harper and Kysen Muller; his sisters, Betty Klingenborg (Paul) of Parkersburg and Eileen Hofer (Darwin) of Parkersburg; his sister-in-law Norma Hassman of Cedar Falls; his mother-in-law Ruth Oelmann of Ackley; and his brothers-in-law, Jade Oelmann, Randy Oelmann (Darla), Lee Oelmann (Cheryl) and Gary Oelmann (Katie).
