We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2021, Sandra Kay Dannenbring of Parkersburg, Iowa, born in Waseca, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Bud Smidt and Gert Smidt; and her brother Sprugeon Smidt. She is survived by : her former life partner Craig Etjen; her husband Lex Dannenbring; her children, Derek Etjen (Jill), Deren Etjen (Casey) and Josie Mostek (Chad); her stepchildren, LariAnn Helzer (Adam), Lisa Liebsch (Casey) and Gina Dannenbring; her grandchildren, Trevor (Lexi), Isabel, Kyle, Ellie, Addison, Lane, Gabe, Julia, Alexander, Grace and Sara; her great grandchild Finn; and her brothers, Mike Smidt (Lisa), Monte Smidt (Kandie) and Scott Smidt. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family. The memorials will be donated to the Parkersburg Library and to Dollars for Scholars to go towards a scholarship for a student majoring in education.
