He was predeceased by : his parents, John Kannegieter and Maggie Kannegieter (Finger); his daughter Pam Druvenga; and his siblings, Calvin, Elmer Kannegieter, Frances Meyer and Evelyn Meyer.

He is survived by : his wife Sylvia Siebrands of Parkersburg; and his son Randy (Teresa) of Norwalk, Ohio. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
