He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Paulsen and Ida Paulsen (Fegebank); his parents-in-law, Orville and Margaret Bjork; and his brother Gary Bjork (Naomi).
He is survived by: his wife Judy Bjork; his sons, Randy (Julie Paulsen), Steve (Joyce Paulsen) and David Paulsen (Carmen Johnson); his grandchildren, Tim Paulsen (Ashley), Jill Van Otterloo (Mitch), Adam Paulsen (Kayla), Larie Foresman (Nathan), Ryan Paulsen (Alissa), Nick Paulsen (Lexis), Madison and McKenna Paulsen; his siblings, Carol Goslinga (Stewart) of LeMars and Lenny Paulsen (Cindy) of Paullina; and his sisters-in-law, Jo Tesch (David) and Jan Koenig (Keith). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eldridge Family Funeral Home (217 E Logan St, Paullina, IA 51046). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (103 W Bertha St, Paullina, IA 51046). A burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at the Prairie View Cemetery (4694 Polk Ave, Paullina, IA 51046).
