He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Meyers and Myrna Meyers (Van Haaften); his brother Curtis Meyers; his brother-in-law Leo Vander Linden; his father-in-law Albert Rouw; and his nephew William Aaron Barr.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Rouw; his children, Jenny Buitenwerf (Scott) of Pella and Cory Meyers (Lorena) of Galloway; his siblings, Debbie Vander Linden of Pella, Vicki Meyers of Knoxville and Marty Meyers (Evonn) of Osage Beach; his sister-in-law Lori Meyers (Curtis) of Pella; his mother-in-law Anna Mae Rouw of Pella; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Williams (Kevin) of Katy, Sally Splittgerber (Howie) of Carlisle and Scott Rouw of Willis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Gateway Recreation Golf Course.
