With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Rumer (Pella, Iowa), who passed away on January 4, 2022 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick Terpstra and Minnie Terpstra (Van Maanen); her father-in-law Lynn Rumer; and her siblings, Irene Bennick, Donna Asher, Wilbur and Delano.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Rumer; her children, Christopher and Heidi; her family, Angie Rumer, Jack Rumer (Carissa Cowman), Grant Rumer, Heidi, Chris Watkins and Lainey Watkins; her siblings, Alberta Pol (late Marion) of Pella, Viola Goemaat (late Ed) of Pella, Richard Terpstra (Mary) of Pella, Marilyn May (late Marvin) of Pella, Vernon Terpstra (Kay) of Monroe, Virgil Terpstra (Bertha) of Pella, Ivan Terpstra (Nancy) of Newton and Twyla Meyers of Pella; her mother-in-law Betty Rumer of Thornburg; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Pendleton (Mike) of Ankeny and Dale Rumer (Susan) of Walford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Pella.
