Larry Roose Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Roose of Indianola, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Bessie Roose (Van Hall); his family Nathan Dominic Dean Roose; his sister Berdene Thomson (late Warren); and also, Arthur and Jeanette Van Haaften.
He is survived by: his father Gerrit W. Roose (Jerry); his wife Twyla; his family, Doug Roose (Kristal), Indianola, Danielle, Charlie Uhl, Lexi Stonehocker-Roose, Deanna Wise, DeAngelo Dean and Paighton Veenstra; and also, Wilford Roose (late Irene) of Pleasantville and Judy Roose (Den Adel) of Pella. He is also survived by nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Liberty Evangelical Free Church (684 198th Ave, Pella, IA 50219). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
