He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit Klyn and Katherine Klyn; and his siblings, Ruth Vande Wall (Henry), Marge Sneller (Arthur), John Klyn, Art Klyn (Betty), Gerald Klyn (Margaret), Cecil Vander Molen (Sylvia), Tony Langstraat (Sylvia), Joyce Klyn (Les), Angelyn Klyn (Ray) and Phyllis Klyn (Marvin).
He is survived by: his wife Valda; his children, Jeff Klyn, Kristie Muether and Reverend Charles Muether; his grandchildren, Katelin Klyn, Lexi Hickman (Kyle), Tanya Larson (Jacob) and Susie Muether; his siblings, Sylvia Langstraat (Vander Molen) of Pella, Ray Klyn (Lois) of Pella, Marvin Klyn of Jenison, Marion Klyn (Glenda) of Pella, Sidney Klyn (Mary) of Pella and Lester Klyn (Linda) of Pella; and his sister-in-law Lois Klyn (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
