With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary De Zwarte (Pella, Iowa), who passed away on March 11, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerrit L. Vis and Grace Vis (De Bruin); her parents-in-law, Abe and Jacoba De Zwarte; her sister Norma; her brothers-in-law, Donald Toom and Gerald Van Sant; her son Mike De Zwarte; and her granddaughter Emily Schippers.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Eugene, Gayle Lynn and Sandra Kay; her husband Marvin De Zwarte; her family, Melissa De Zwarte (Ron Rupprecht), Julie Keegel, Mike Vander Hoek, Taylor, Bryce Wursta, Madison Keegel, Jayne De Zwarte, Jawnica Long, Launa Edwards, Allie Van Wyk, Kylie De Zwarte, Amy, Matt Johnson, Amber Johnson, Gayle, Roger Wyma, Luke, Corrine Wyma, Charlotte, Andrew, Christina Wyma, Kyper, Kenly, Hayslee, Sandy, Mike Schippers, Brett, Keri Schippers, Brayden, Parker, Kinslee, Emily Schippers, Megan Schippers and Tyler Jenkins Mary; her brother Carroll Vis (Rita) of Eldridge, Iowa; and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Van Sant of Tracy, Connie, Jerry Rowe of Pella, Linda and Pat Brown of Knoxville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Pella.
