It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shellie Hawkins of Pella, Iowa, born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on May 22, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dick Hawkins; her grandparents, Floyd, Velma Crozier, Gerrit and Josie Klein; and her mothers-in-law, Lorraine Hawkins and Irene Hawkins Mitchel.
She is survived by: her parents, Carolyn Crozier Klein of Pella and Perry Glen Klein, Sr.; her children, Andrew, Nicole, Andy Hawkins (Christina) of Des Moines and Nikki Hawkins of Pella; her siblings, Perry Klein Jr. (Ann) of Des Moines and Sheryl Van Genderen (Rod) of Pella; and her brothers-in-law, Norman Hawkins (Shelley) of Ames, Bob Hawkins (Beth) of Newton and Timothy Hawkins of Gainesville, Florida.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
