She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Sly Walker and Florence Lucile Smith; her husband Gale Whiton; her brothers, Roger and Richard Walker; and her sister-in-law Darlene Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Flynn (Nancy) of Glendale, AZ, Sharon Noring (Rick) of Grimes, IA, Lori Whiton Damron (Howard) of Panora, IA and Roz Weis (Greg) of Decorah, IA; her grandchildren, Valerie Ruiz (Bill), Veronica Forsythe (Fran), Tracey Noring (Torrey), Ashley Noring (Andy Weber), Andy Weis (Jessica), Paul Weis (Lindsey) and Carol Hopp (Nick); and her brother Bob Walker of Fairfax, IA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
