He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Decker and Grace Decker of Peru; his wife Dorothy Decker (Vanatta); his siblings, Gene, Dale, Joe Decker and Lois Dillinger; and his great grandchild Joshua Tiede.

He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Decker (Nellene) of Murray, Donnie Decker (Judy) of Murray and Donna Davis (Marty) of Springfield, IL; and his siblings, Marie Porter of Osceola, Jim Decker of Winterset, Everett Decker of Peru and Lee Decker of Lorimor. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; fifteen great-great grandchildren.
