He was predeceased by: his parents, Verl Dillinger and Inez Dillinger (Amerine); his wife Blue Dillinger; and his brothers, Robert Dillinger (Margaret), Richard Dillinger (Lois) and Donald Dillinger (Carolyn).
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathryn Armstrong (Gary) of Mediapolis and Dorothy Frease (Kim) of Winterset; his siblings, Marilyn Hull of Van Meter, Larry Dillinger (Linda) of Winterset and Bill Dillinger (Annette) of Peru; his grandchildren, Thomas, Brody, Crystal Armstrong and Travis Kirk; and his stepgrandchildren, Jeremey Frease, Chad Frease, Stacey Anderson, Amy Armstrong and Dehlia Armstrong. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
Memorials will be directed to EveryStep Hospice, MCFFE (the new Madison County Conservation Center), or Peru United Methodist Church.
