It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Cotton (Peru, Iowa), born in Peru, Nebraska, who passed away on August 24, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his parents, Jim and Sylvia; his brother John; and his son-in-law Jeff Pease.
He is survived by: his siblings, Roy Edwin and Sylvia Jean Cotton (Railsback); his children, Mary Michelle, Mary Pease of Stuart, Iowa and Michael of Lincoln, Nebraska; his grandsons, Tyler (Colby) and Tanner Pease (Jody) of Stuart; his sister Janet; his brother-in-law Gary Dahmke of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and his nephews, Mitchell Dahmke (Carol) of Louisville and Chris Dahmke (Nell) of Cheyenne.
