He is survived by: his children, Mark Hughes, Jr. of Garden Valley, Sean Hughes of Davenport, Anthony Hughes, Amanda Jones of Bettendorf and Christopher Gimm of Davenport; and his brothers, John Hughes, Michael Hughes, Jeffery Hughes and Gary Hughes. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
