She was predeceased by: her parents, Israel Halder and Iris Halder (Mason); her husband Lt. Edward James Bittner (Jim); her son Richard "Rick"; her daughter-in-law Pat Bittner; her daughter Mary Beth; and her siblings, Lowell, Ray Halder and Calista Hammes.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Say (Theresa) of Norman, OK and Barry Bittner (Marlene) of Storm Lake; her grandchildren, Jodie Say (Tabitha) of Louisville, KY, Michael Say of Louisville, KY, Christopher Say of Apache Junction, AZ, Jeffrey Say (Amy) of Mesa, AZ, Cynthia Miller (Matt) of Mesa, AZ, Jeanna Bittner of Omaha, NE, Jodi Bittner Chase (Steve) of Cherokee, Lindi Stykel (Todd) of Cherokee, Jeff Bittner (Kay) of New Sharon and Mike Bittner (Alicia) of Omaha, NE; and her great grandchildren, Madison, Emily Stykel, Zachary, Derek Nixon, Chance and Chloe Readshaw. She is also survived by four sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law and 53 nieces & nephews.
