He is survived by: his spouse Vina Bierl; his sons, Rod Schott of Pocahontas and Rick Schott (Carmen) of Troy, IL; his grandchildren, Zach and Isabella; and his siblings, Joe Schott (Betty) of Sheldon and Eleanor Hohensee (Sandy Hood) of Laurens.
