Perry of Pocahontas, Iowa, born in West Bend, Iowa, who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Schmidt and Marie Schmidt (Jennings); her husbands, Virgil DeWall and James Perry; and her nephew Barry Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Dan DeWall (Laura) of Pocahontas, Dave DeWall (Laurie) of Pocahontas and Jane Stoulil (Rod) of Pocahontas; her stepchildren, Kaye Perry (Willie Pico) of Emmetsburg, Randy Perry of Emmetsburg and Annette Hiscocks (Joe) of Britt; her grandchildren, Ebony, Erin, Cody, Niki, Heather, Megan, Sarah, Kris, Amy, Carrie, Brent, Tracy and Kal; and her brother Robert Schmidt (Shirley) of Mundelin, IL.. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID, public services have been cancelled for Joan Perry on Saturday, October 17, 2020.
